2. History of formation of MB Bank

Military Commercial Joint Stock Bank (MB) was established on November 4, 1994, with 25 employees and an initial charter capital of 20 billion VND. This is considered one of the joint stock commercial banks, directly under the Ministry of National Defense of Vietnam. After more than 29 years of formation and development, MB has gone through the following stages:

– In 2000: MB established Thang Long Securities Company Limited (now MBS Military Commercial Joint Stock Bank Securities Joint Stock Company) and Military Commercial Joint Stock Bank Asset Exploitation and Debt Management Company (MBAMC).
